Kidderminster Harriers are hoping to extend the loan spell of striker Damian Spencer for a second time. The 28-year-old Kettering forward, who played in Saturday's 0-0 draw at Oxford United, joined on an initial month-long loan in November.

Harriers manager Steve Burr told BBC Hereford & Worcester: "We'd like to try and do something and we've got until Wednesday next week.

"Hopefully we can extend that and we'll keep him with us."

Burr was impressed with another loanee, midfielder Marc Goodfellow, who has come on loan for the rest of the season from Burton Albion, in Saturday's Oxford stalemate.

"That is his first game for a while as he had not played at Burton," said the Harriers manager. "I am delighted to get him on board.

"He showed some glimpses of what we can expect in the coming months from him."

Harriers have also confirmed that Tim Flowers has agreed to continue working with the club's goalkeepers until the end of the season.

The former Wolves, Southampton, Blackburn Rovers and England keeper was brought in for a one-off session with Aggborough custodians Dean Coleman and Jasbir Singh.

But Burr has now opted to make this a more permanent arrangement, allowing Flowers to do a weekly training session with the pair, partially funded by the Kidderminster Harriers Independent Supporters Trust.

"Having spoken to Jas and Dean it was clear that they hadn't had any individual work in training all season," said Burr.

"Tim is quite local to the club so to have an arrangement now whereby he can come in and share some of his experience with these lads on a more regular basis is fantastic."
