Goodfellow out to make impression.

Marc Goodfellow says he will be doing all he can to impress during his loan spell at Kidderminster, with an eye on earning a permanent deal at Harriers. The 28-year-old former Stoke winger has moved to Aggborough from Burton Albion until the end of the season.

"My contract at Burton is up at the end of the season, so I am hoping to impress here," Goodfellow told BBC Hereford & Worcester.

"I am not jumping the gun, I have to perform on the pitch."

He added: "I'm enjoying it. It's nice to be playing and having a manager who believes in your ability.

I know I can personally do better, I am just hoping there is more to come

"I came here to play games as I was not playing a Burton."

Goodfellow has started twice since arriving at Kidderminster - the 0-0 draw with Oxford and the 2-1 victory over Forest Green.

"It's always good when you come to a club to get the fans on your side, and the dressing room was very welcoming," said the former Bristol City, Swansea and Grimsby man.

"Against Oxford I got a few good chances but the final pass and final shot didn't quite come off, but that was a good result.

"A win at home to Forest Green was good and I set one of the goals up, but we can play better than we did.

"I know I can personally do better, I am just hoping there is more to come."
